Waitanuan Business District Masterplan @ KPF - 2003

Waitanyuan district along the Bund is a waterfront area in central Shanghai & is one of its most famous tourist destinations. With building heights restricted in the historic area, the proposed masterplan would encompassed delivering diverse areas of financial and commercial space, a cultural street, a high-end shopping boulevard together with secluded residential and hotel accommodation and a sporting zone along the Haungpu river that demonstrates the evolution from the historic fabric of buildings and streetscapes from early 20thcentury to a sophisticated, cultural and fashionable landmark in the 21st century China. 

Involved at the design stage with responsibility on drawing the street elevations throughout the scheme together with determining and calculating floor areas throughout the scheme.
